About Me

Hey, I’m Jens

I’m a Cloud Endpoint Solution Engineer at Microsoft, based in Belgium. For over four years I’ve been helping large organizations manage and secure their laptops, desktops, and mobile devices using cloud-based tools like Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Defender for Endpoint, and Windows 365.

My role sits between customers and the product teams at Microsoft. I help customers design and roll out solutions, test new features before they ship, find workarounds when things don’t work as expected, and feed what I learn back into the product so it gets better for everyone.

What I Do

  • Device management and security: Organizations move from legacy on-premises tools to cloud-based device management, gaining better security and lower operational overhead
  • Identity and access: Users get seamless, secure sign-in experiences while the right access policies keep company resources protected
  • Customer workshops: Teams walk away with a concrete solution design tailored to their specific needs and constraints
  • Prototyping and automation: Customers see working proofs of concept quickly, so they can make confident decisions before committing to a full rollout
  • Product feedback loop: Real-world deployment lessons feed directly into better products and documentation for the broader community

Cloud Endpoint Solution Engineer

  • Retail (27,000 frontline workers): Enabled a retail organization to fully transition from legacy on-premises tools to cloud-based device management, security, and virtual desktops. A playbook and workaround catalogue removed recurring blockers and unblocked the rollout.
  • Defense (global, highly regulated): Delivered a validated approach for a defense organization under strict regulations that was accepted by Microsoft engineering as an officially supported method.
  • Rapid prototyping: Customers evaluate working proofs of concept quickly, allowing confident go/no-go decisions before committing to full rollouts.

I’m a member of MC2MC, a Belgian community focused on Microsoft Cloud and Client Management. MC2MC covers Cloud and Hybrid Cloud, Endpoint Management, and Security, Compliance, and Identity, bringing together professionals through regular MC2MC Live events and a permanent Call for Speakers.
